Another huge week in the life of the College

08-Feb-2018

With the girls settled into the new school year, College life has been quite exciting. This week we have taken part in the Queen’s Baton Relay for the Commonwealth Games to be held on the Gold Coast in April, had school photos taken, held our College Commencement Mass and recognition of our new school leaders and we have taken part in celebrations to farewell Bishop Ingham.

It has been a fantastic start to the term and it has also been a huge week in the life of the College. It only gets better from here as the girls will be involved with the ordination and installation of our new Bishop, Fr Brian Mascord on Thursday, 22 February. Our orchestra and choir will be involved in the Mass and we have girls who will be undertaking duties on the night. The ordination of a Bishop is a really big deal and for those who would like to find out just what a Bishop does and a little about our new Bishop, I have provided some links.
