The Season of Christmas

14-Dec-2017

The season of Christmas is fast approaching and, while we can get caught up in the consumerism of this season, it’s worth remembering what Christmas is all about.

It’s about a little baby born in a manger over 2000 years ago. The baby was the Christ child and the lasting effects of this miraculous birth and an equally miraculous life continue to be felt across humanity. Christmas is the celebration of the great gift of this child to the world and his birth is a call to each of us to be our best selves. To be people of faith; faith in God, faith in each other and faith in humanity. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, I have included just a little humour and a good dose of compassion with the short clips attached. I pray that you have a happy, holy and peace filled Christmas.
